The 2025 awards ceremony celebrated the talent and creativity of the filmmakers, artists, and teams whose work stood out across our various competitions.

Short Film Competition

Jury’s Choice Award — Quebec Short Film

The Jury’s Choice Award was presented to Andrés I. Estrada for his short film Audio y el Caiman.

The team received a $1,000 grant from the ARRQ, along with $2,000 in equipment rentals from SLA Location.

Grand Prize — International Short Film

The Grand Prize for Best International Short Film was presented to Lucía G. Romero for her film Cura Sana.

The filmmaker received $1,500 in post-production services from Cinelume Post Production.

Golden Hourglass — Best Canadian Short Film

The Golden Hourglass for Best Canadian Short Film was presented to Bec Pecaut for Are You Scared to Be Yourself Because You Think That You Might Fail?

The winner received $5,000 in equipment rentals from Grandé — Camera, Lighting, Studios and Post-Production.

Series Competition

Best International Short-Form Series Award

The Best International Short-Form Series Award was presented to Joachim Weissmann for his series Home.

The filmmaker received $1,500 in post-production services from Cinelume Post Production.

Best Mid-Form Series Award

The Best Mid-Form Series Award was presented to Louise Condemi for Amours solitaires — Season 2: Maëlle & Saïd.

The team received $2,500 in post-production services from Les Copains du Son.

Grand Prize — National Short-Form Series

The Grand Prize for Best National Short-Form Series was presented to Sophia Belahmer for Détox — Season 2.

The filmmaker received $3,000 in equipment rentals from Entreprises Vidéo Service.

La Fête du Clip

Best Artist Award

The Best Artist Award was presented to HDK for the music video Lisa, directed by Ginger Le Pêcheur.

The team received $1,000 in promotional support on CISM 89.3 FM’s platform.

Best Music Video Award

The Best Music Video Award was presented to the Ebinum Brothers for A Better World, directed by Benjamin Nicolas.

The winning team received $1,500 in equipment rentals from SLA Location.

Audience Award

The audience selected HDK’s Lisa, directed by Ginger Le Pêcheur, as its winning music video.

The team received $2,000 in equipment rentals from Royal Photo.

Emerging Talent Awards

Emerging Filmmaker Award

The Emerging Filmmaker Award was presented to Lucian Austin for the short film Pretend.

The winner received $1,500 in equipment rentals from Royal Photo.

Emerging Short-Form Series Award

The Emerging Short-Form Series Award was presented to Lou Zidi for the series Les Rieuses.

The winner received the use of a post-production suite provided by Royal Photo.
